Q – What material is used to manufacture LednLight collimators? Where are they made ?

A – LednLight collimators are manufactured from very pure PMMA, guaranteeing maximum light efficiency. The supports are in PC. All our products are manufactured in France.

Q – What is the efficiency of LednLight collimators ?

A – The efficiency depends on the LED and the collimator, it is in the range 80% to 85%

Q – What is the meaning of the LLx code allocated to each collimator ?

A – LL signifies LednLight and x is the average half-angle at mid-height. LL7 therefore signifies LednLight, +/-7 degrees.

Q – Why is there no mechanical support for the LL3 collimator ?

A – The LL3 is generally used in very specific applications. As a result, a standard mechanical support is likely to be suitable for very few actual cases. On the other hand, the other collimators have a mechanical support.

Q – Why isn't there any information concerning the LED Cree X lamp ?

A – Due to the geometry of its box, the LED Cree X lamp cannot be used directly with the LednLight LL7, LL10, LL17 and LL9.16 collimators in their standard versions.
However, we can offer a specific version of LednLight collimators, with even smaller dimensions, for the LED Cree X lamp. This specific version is not referenced in this technical documentation: please contact us for more information.
However, the LED Cree X lamp can be used directly with the LednLight LL3 collimator .

Q – I want to use an LED that is not referenced in this technical documentation. Is that possible ?

A – LednLight collimators are designed to adapt to several types of LEDS, allowing the user to choose the LED that is most suitable for the purpose. If your LED is not referenced in this technical documentation, please contact our design office for more information.

Q – I have a very specific problem. The performance of LednLight collimators does not fully meet my technical requirements.

A – Our engineers can customise LednLight collimators to meet your requirements, in order to offer you a specific "customised" technical solution at a very competitive price. So please do not hesitate to contact us to inform us of your requirements.

Q – I want to ask you a question that is not in the FAQ. How can I contact you ?
